Custom Christmas Cards Help Animals at the Vernon BC SPCA
December 09, 2009
For the second year in a row, I’ve been designed the Christmas cards for the Vernon & District BC SPCA Spirit of Christmas fundraising campaign. Each card features a pet that was adopted from the shelter, and each represents the animal groups that the SPCA cares for: livestock (horse); small animals (bird); and of course, dogs and cats. The cards are bundled in sets of four and sold for a minimum donation. For the hard-to-buy-for person on your list, you could make a donation to the Vernon BC SPCA on their behalf and receive a Spirit of Christmas card (featuring a dog or cat) to send to them. Green Tip: Print Greener with Ecofont
September 30, 2009
Amazingly, even something as ordinary as a font can help you become just a little more greener. Communications agency SPRANQ designed Ecofont with small holes, which reduces ink or toner usage by about 20% compared to standard fonts. Ecofont is free to use and download.

Healthy Spot Pet Nutrition & Supply just received a fresh new look and layout for their website, just in time to showcase their recent award win for Sustainable Business and nomination for New Business of the Year. With the help of Scratchpad Creative, we gave a modern and fresh look to Healthy Spot’s website and implemented new features such as an image gallery, news release and content management system. Healthy Spot is a new pet store in Vernon, British Columbia, that “promotes healthy lifestyles and well-being for pets in a welcoming and informative store environment”. New Promo Material for Barona Beach

Barona Beach, a luxury beachfront resort in the Okanagan, British Columbia, just received a fresh and more sophisticated look for their promotional material including a new rack card and suite flyers. Teaming up with Scratchpad Creative, we created a double-sided rack card and promotional flyers for their luxury suites which better represented what Barona Beach is all about – tranquility, comfort, luxury and sophistication.
